Filtering Devices

Filters are devices intended to provide frequency dependent impedance. At some frequencies there will be very little impedance; at others a very high impedance. Filters are most commonly used in two types of situations -- low magnitude, high frequency electrical noise (or EMI,) and current harmonic distortion.
